Capabilities

built on THE UNIVERSAL MATRIX

0protocol.ai does not generate answers. It reads a claim along one course, 0 → X → Y → Z → 0, binds it to its sources and to the person accountable for it, and returns a record anyone can inspect. It serves the people whose work turns on what a document really says and who really acted: counsel, investigators, regulators, editors and risk officers.

Status. The architecture is published. The kernel runs on a staging machine and moves to a dedicated workstation next. Each capability below carries its status, and results will be posted here with their method and their limits.

The five capabilities

What it does, and what it yields

FeatureWhat it doesWhat it yields
Agency parsingPāṇini's kāraka rules, Aṣṭādhyāyī 1.4In testing Reads every sentence for who acted (kartā), with what (karaṇa), on what (karma) and where (adhikaraṇa). Flags the agent that is missing or hidden: the passive voice of “it was decided”, or a committee, system or title standing where a person should. Search tools index words; this maps accountability. Reviewers of transcripts, filings and reports find the evasive passages quickly and know which names, dates and sign-offs to ask for.
The 0-GateWarrant in both directionsKnown fault under repair Admits a claim only with its warrant (pramāṇa) both ways: the evidence that supports it, and the conditions that would disprove it. A sound breaking source halts admission. Speculation, spin and machine-invented text stop at the threshold instead of flowing into the work product. Every claim that enters the record carries the reason it was let in.
The dual ledgerMeasured (Z) and judged (Y), kept apartWorking in first readouts Records what was measured (the particulars: logs, counts, dates, documents) separately from what was judged (the universals: interpretations, standards, rules of law). An aspiration cannot pass as an achievement, and an opinion cannot pass as a measurement. In a dispute, it shows whether the parties disagree about the evidence or about its interpretation.
Sovereign local operationYour workstation, your recordsWorkstation install pending Runs on a dedicated workstation in the client’s own premises, with a local open-weight model and outbound traffic blocked. Core files are sealed under a SHA-256 manifest; every run is logged locally, append-only. Documents need not leave the building to be analysed. That supports confidentiality and privilege obligations; whether a given deployment meets them remains for counsel to confirm.
Inspectable audit cardsThe output signature, Matrix-VerifiedFormat in refinement Each verdict is exported as a self-contained card: the claim, its named agent, the sources for and against, the axioms cited, the filters cleared, and the hashes that seal the run. Anyone can follow the reasoning and recompute the seal, and disagree on the record. The card documents how a conclusion was reached; its use as evidence remains a matter for the court.

The instrument shows its warrant; the professional signs the judgment.

Who it serves

Where the record matters

Counsel and investigators

Depositions, interrogatories and regulatory filings, read for the actor behind every act.

Regulators and ombudsmen

Reports and responses checked for claims without warrant and decisions without a name.

Editors and researchers

No footnote, no admission: every claim bound to a source a reader can check.

Risk and compliance officers

Measured results kept apart from stated intentions, so the record shows what was actually done.
